In the Fife Free Press today, there was notice of a planning application to turn the old Esso station on Chapel Level into several units, including some Takeaway food places. The building has been dormant since its closure a few years ago, despite housing being built behind it and the road in front about to be dualled.

There are obviously concerns about how busy/noisy it will be, but is it not better that it be put to some use that lie empty forever?
